The conference brings together professionals from the mining industry of Kazakhstan.
Speakers of the conference are thought leaders of a very high-level audience. During the business program, our speakers will share their expertise and knowledge with leaders of the industry. Two days of the conference will offer presentations of new solutions and innovative technologies, present new investment mining projects, as well as allow to exchange experience with colleagues.
Technical sessions, panel discussions, and round tables are dedicated to the exploration, processing, and enrichment of raw materials, construction and modernization of the mining plants and their efficiency, environmental and labor safety issues, logistics and transport infrastructure, and other issues related to the work of the mining enterprises.
Technical visit
Polymetal is one of the top 10 gold mining companies in the world.
More than 10 tons of gold in concentrate are produced here annually.
In 2022, 2.2 million tons of ore were mined, and gold production in concentrate amounted to 10.6 tons.
Commercial operation of the Bakyrchik quarry began in 2016.
Now it is considered one of the most productive gold miners quarries in Kazakhstan. Today, an important task is the successful implementation of the deep multilateral drilling program to increase the mineral resource base. This will allow, upon completion open mining (by 2035) to move to the stage of underground mining. End of production – 2049.
The company employs more than 1500 full-time employees. In addition, the enterprise employs more than 1,000 employees of contractors.
Polymetal Group is also evaluating options to accelerate the construction and commissioning of Irtysh POX Facility in Pavlodar in Kazakhstan.
